   Jamie Ellis    President  CFP  ChFC  EA  IAR

Jamie’s primary role is the ongoing investment management of our portfolios.   After graduating with a finance degree from the University of Wisconsin Whitewater in 1992, he started in the industry as a broker in the Chicago suburbs.  Shortly after moving to Denver in 1996, he left the brokerage business and founded Investment & Tax Strategies, Inc.  Jamie is a branch manager with Calton & Assocites, Inc. and supervises the Denver office.    During his free time, Jamie is an avid golfer, outdoorsman, and enjoys traveling.

 

Kevin Polheber    Vice President  IAR

Kevin’s role is the ongoing servicing of our existing clients, portfolio management, and bringing in new clients.  A graduate of the University of Wisconsin Parkside, Kevin started in the brokerage business in 1991, and has been in the investment field ever since. Kevin is a branch manager with Calton & Associates, Inc. and supervises the Genoa City office. Kevin is very active in his community and church, holding a seats on the city board, Lion’s Club, and the food pantry.  In his free time, he enjoys spending quality time with his wife and children.

 

Loy Oakes

Loy is on his second career at Investment & Tax Strategies. A retired airline pilot, Loy joined the organization in 1999, and specializes in oil, gas, and mining investments. Loy is a registered rep with Calton & Associates, Inc.  In his free time, Loy is active in his church travels extensively with his wife and family.

 

Danielle West

Danielle is the executive assistant with the firm, and also handles many customer service issues.  She is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the branch offices. Danielle comes from an entrepreneurial background and has run several small businesses.  During her free time, Danielle enjoys the water and is on a competitive wakeboard team and coaches at the professional level.
